About the Indian Competition

Interest in building and racing concrete canoes in India built when students from IIT Madras fabricated two concrete canoes which were displayed during the ICI-Fest 2013 and CEA Fest 2014 held at IIT Madras. 

The first ICI-IITM National Concrete Canoe Competition (NCCC) was held in 2015 when students from various universities throughout India fabricated and raced their entries.

India Catches Concrete Canoe Fever

The first Indian National Concrete Canoe Competition took place at IIT Madras this August when 19 teams took to the water. The competition was an exciting experience for all and we'll be posting the results soon.
